Artsboretum's mission is to preserve and celebrate our rich cultural legacy to plant seeds of change.

Description:
The Artsboretum music arts incubator project has the potential to take an historic music landmark into a new era of creative service to the community.
Our comprehensive plan will preserve the The Plant Studios’ rich music legacy, conserve valuable resources and stimulate the local economy by providing job opportunities for our creative work force.

History:
The seeds for our organization took root many years ago at The Plant Studios. Essentially, our vision was to expand upon The Plant Studios' 20+ years of service to independent music artists and non-profit communities.
Previous organizations served include: Little Kids Rock, KSRH, the Girl Scouts, Youth In Arts, Blue Bear School of Music, Bread and Roses, Missing Children’s Foundation and more.
We started formalizing and developing programs 2006.

In 2007, we became a project of the International Humanities Center and started our community outreach programs as A Vehicle for Change (as in music is “a vehicle for change.”)
Since IH Center is a nonprofit public charity exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, contributions to Artsboretum are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
