Lucretia Little History Room
Work on a cutting edge digitization project as we scan and catalog our collection of vintage photographs of Mt. Tamalpais, the mountain railroad, the Dipsea race and many more. The Lucretia Little History Room preserves and maintains information on local history. Volunteers work on exciting projects and assist visitors and callers conducting research on local history. No experience necessary - we train all volunteers.
Description:
The Lucretia Little History Room is housed in a picturesque setting within the Mill Valley Public Library. Volunteers may work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends.
History:
The Lucretia Little History Room has been part of the library for over three decades, but our collections of historical photographs, maps, newspapers, oral histories, and other documents date back to the late 19th Century.
