The Pine Street Foundation's mission is to help people with cancer reach more informed treatment decisions through education and research. This is accomplished through meta-analysis of medical literature from around the globe and through the conduct of innovative clinical trials. Our research program also supports and informs our education programs; by publishing the results of our work in reputable medical journals, we are able to make the results of our efforts widely available to other researches, practitioners, and patients. The Pine Street Foundation also creates and publishes the "Avenues" newsletter and has produced approximately seven Chinese Health Screening Fairs in Marin which were free to the public. In addition, we house a large research library on the subjects of: chinese, traditional and complementary medicine in various languages. We host local and national speakers on the topic of health as well host general health classes by donation to the public.
