Maria Ramos-Chertok is a nonprofit consultant with expertise in the areas of conflict resolution, sexual harassment prevention, managing change, teambuilding, multiculturalism, leadership development and supervision.
Description:
I provide consulting, training and mediation services to nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies and foundations. I am an active member of the California Bar and my sexual harassment prevention workshops are designed to comply with AB 1825. I received mediation training from the Center for Mediation and Law and studied with Gary Friedman.
History:
Prior to consulting, I worked in the field of domestic violence prevention and in 1999 was hired by the Family Violence Prevention Fund to write the judicial benchbook, Cultural Considerations in Domestic Violence Cases. Between 1996 and 2006 I was a consultant and trainer with CompassPoint Nonprofit services. I am a National Hispana Leadership Institute graduate and received my law degree from the University Pennsylvania.
