MarinSpace is the only organization in Marin County solely dedicated to helping nonprofits improve the quality of their workspace so they can better serve the community.

WHAT WE DO
We provide strategic real estate-related services in three areas:
•We own and operate buildings
•We provide project specific planning and development services; and
•We offer real estate-related information and resource referral programs.
WHO WE SERVE
Our direct clients are primarily small to medium sized Marin-based nonprofit organizations. We also work with government agencies, foundations and real estate professionals.
The ultimate objective of all our work is to serve our community. We effect positive social change through supporting organizations that address a full spectrum of health and human service needs, environmental issues, and economic development challenges, now and for future generations.
By bringing together best practices from both the real estate and nonprofit sectors, the organizations we work with are able to serve their clients in space that is not only financially and operationally sustainable, but also mission-enhancing.
History:
The agency was founded in 1988 as Community Services Center Marin County, Inc. to acquire, renovate, construct and/or operate facilities in Marin County that would principally house nonprofit organizations and public agencies in a manner that would provide stable, affordable, safe, and comfortable office and program space. The name was changed to MarinSpace in 2004.

Take Highway 101 north, exiting at Freitas Parkway and proceeding to the left over the freeway. At the second stop light, turn left on Northgate Drive. Pass Northgate Shopping Center, to 555 Northgate Drive on the right side of street, opposite Sear's Automotive Center.
