The National Eczema Association improves the health and quality of life for individuals with eczema through research, support and education.

Description:
The National Eczema Association is a national, patient-oriented organization which is governed by a Board of Directors and guided by a Scientific Advisory Committee comprised of physicians and scientists who donate their time and expertise. NEA is entirely supported through individual and corporate contributions and is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

History:
The National Eczema Association (NEA) began in 1988 as a small support group for eczema patients. It has now grown to include support groups throughout the country. NEA hosts an eczema patient conference, advocates on Capitol Hill, produces newsletters and educational materials for patients and medical professionals.
