Art Works Downtown

Art Works Downtown's principal purpose is to provide a community center for the arts in downtown San Rafael; to encourage artistic activities; to educate the public and increase its appreciation of art; and to strengthen the relationship between artists, arts organizations, and the larger community, and to provide the county's first affordable, low cost housing for artists.

Description:
We have on-going gallery exhibits. We also participate in San Rafael's Second Friday Art Walk from 6 - 8 pm. Don't miss our Speaker Series and our Underground Gallery for local artists.
