Four Winds West is dedicated to helping at-risk young adults make a successful transition to independent living, where they can begin to lead a life that is productive, stable, and rewarding.

Description:
Four Winds West is a non- profit residential treatment program for young adults, 18-28 years old, who need help becoming independent due to a variety of social, emotional, or psychological problems such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, ADD/ADHD, post-traumatic stress, and recovery from addiction. Our program offers a broad range of therapeutic and independent living skills based services including individual therapy, group therapy, social skills training, symptom management, money management, and transition planning. The program owns Bedrock Music and Video, a small retail store, that we use as a job training facility for our residents.

History:
Four Winds West was started in 1990 to address the needs of the at-risk young adult population in Marin County and the greater Bay Area. In 2005, our non-profit purchased Bedrock Music to give our residents the opportunity to gain entry level job skills in a supportive work setting. This has been a valuable stepping stone to future job placements in the local community.
