We offer our members, women and men, the opportunity to gain expert knowledge about issues that affect the way we live. Our interests cover a wide range of issues; housing, transportation, the environment, health care, education, voter information and voting process. If you are interested in having an impact on local, state and even national issues, please join us and make a difference. By joining the local league, you will also become a member at the regional, state, and national levels
History:
The League of Women Voters was formed in 1920, 6 months before the 19th amendment to the Constitution was ratified, giving women the right to vote.
