History:
MBIN was formed in 1983 by families of acquired brain injury survivors. At that time there were no services or support available for either the caregivers or their family members once the acute medical phase was over. In 1997, MBIN established the Larkspur Center, one of the very few programs in California that address the unique needs of adults with brain injuries.
