Pathways To Peace (PTP) is an international not-for-profit Peacebuilding, educational, and consulting organization. We have a threefold mission:

  • to expand the understanding and practical expression of "PEACE" and peacebuilding practices;
  • to build Cultures of Peace by uniting and enhancing the strengths of existing Peacebuilding organizations and programs;
  • to contribute to the evolving mission of the United Nations and to citizens' worldwide participation in PEACE DAY (the International Day of Peace) on September 21 annually.

We define Peace as both an innate state of being, and as a dynamic, evolutionary process, which begins with ourselves, living in harmony with one another, the Earth, and all Circles of Life. Our Principle-in-Action states: "Acting in concert, we do make a difference in the quality of our lives, our institutions, our environment, and our planetary future. Through cooperation, we manifest the essential spirit that unites us amidst our diverse ways."

Description:
Pathways To Peace is a tax-exempt, Social Profit, non-partisan 501(c)(3) Corporation. The mission of Pathways To Peace (PTP) is accomplished through its projects and consulting services, including: Institute of PeaceBuilding, Pathways Consulting, Educating and Mentoring Programme and Events with Peace Leaders.

PTP is an official United Nations Peace Messenger and acts as International Secretariat for the "WE THE PEOPLES" Initiative, which has the annual highlight of PEACE DAY (The International Day of Peace) on September 21.

In our organization, we try to be the Peace we wish to see in the world, and we work on a daily basis with peaceful intentions and behaviors to bring Peace to all with whom we interact.
