We are a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing arts programs and health and human services to the community. Our mission: "To foster a healthy San Geronimo Valley by providing a dynamic center for locally-based human services, arts and culture, education, health and wellness, and community building."

Description:
Our organization has a Valley Resource Center which is the focal point for families and individuals who need information, resources, and referrals reguarding housing, employment, nutritional needs, childcare, health care, and other essential health and human services. Programs include the Food Bank, tutoring, morning and after school childcare, Healthy Babies Project, enrichment classes for children and teens, and adult/parent education. In addition the Community Center presents a variety of monthly art and entertainment programs for the enjoyment of the community.

History:
For the past 40 years, the Community Center has been serving the four villages of the San Geronimo Valley -- Woodacre, San Geronimo, Forest Knolls and Lagunitas -- and Nicasio, and the surrounding communities in western Marin County. The Center has become a focal point in for programs in the Arts, Human Services and for community events and activities. Our visual, literary and performing arts programs provide outstanding cultural opportunities for all Valley residents. Our human services, wellness programming and school-linked services programs serve the children and families, and adults both young and old.
