Suicide Prevention & Community Counseling
Suicide Prevention is a 24-hour crisis intervention/suicide prevention telephone counseling service. We also offer Grief counseling by phone and in person. Our community education program reaches schools and community groups.
History:
Our agency has been operating since 1971. The Hotline service was initiated in response to a suicide rate in Marin County that was triple the national average. Currently, the suicide rate is on a par with the country's average.
