Description:
AlmaVia communities offer older adults a unique opportunity to choose a faith-centered community where quality of life is enhanced through creative programs and supportive assisted living services. Our commitment to each person we serve is to provide high quality housing with services and amenities that promote independence and foster dignity, respect and personal choice.

History:
Our sponsors have a long history of providing faith-based care and services throughout the Bay Area. Elder Care Alliance is cosponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, Regional Community of Burlingame, and the Sierra Pacific Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The Sisters of Mercy, Burlingame region, are celebrating their 150th anniversary of providing ministries in the Greater San Francisco area and Salem Lutheran Home in Oakland has been serving elders since 1924. As part of Elder Care Alliance, AlmaVia is dedicated to the mission and philosophy of its sponsors.
