Experience Corps members serve as tutors and mentors to children in public schools and after-school programs. Experience Corps is a signature program of Civic Ventures.

Description:
Experience Corps Marin is an innovative non-profit organization placing volunteers aged 55 and over in local public schools. Our volunteers work one-on-one with elementary students who need extra support. Experience Corps members mentor children in schools where they help teach children to read and develop confidence and skills to succeed in school and in life. Our intergenerational model of community involvement benefits children, volunteers, and the community as a whole.
