Cornerstone Community Homes

Cornerstone Community Homes provides developmentally disabled residents with safe and comfortable homes and programs that encourage social, recreational, and personal growth experiences through full participation in the mainstream of community life.

Description:
Cornerstone Community Homes has seven homes in Marin County (five in Novato and two in San Rafael) that are licensed as Adult Residential Facilities by Community Care Licensing and vendored by the Golden Gate Regional Center. We serve 42 developmentally disabled adult clients.

History:
Cornerstone Community Homes was founded in 1984 as Exodus, Inc. by a small group of parents of severely autistic children who wanted their children to learn and grow in a home setting in the community rather than in an institution. As the agency grew, we transitioned into exclusively serving adults, and a few of the individuals who lived in our homes as children still reside with us.
