The New Beginnings Center in Novato is an 80-bed facility for adults transitioning out of homelessness. The center assists residents with identifying job skills, accessing job training and job search, as well as counseling and other support. The center would appreciate help to prepare and serve meals for residents. Shifts available include weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., weekday evenings from 4:45 to 7 p.m. or weekend mornings from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Volunteers prepare and serve food with staff in the New Beginnings Center kitchen. Volunteers must be 15 or older.  This opportunity is sponsored by: Homeward Bound of Marin
