Lobby Help Needed Youth

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on November 20, 2009

The Lark Theater needs volunteers to take tickets and help in the lobby.
We are a community team who loves movies, community events and spending time in historic downtown Larkspur. The theater was beautifully restored by skilled craftsman, many of whom were volunteers. Our volunteers are very valuable in insuring the theater's survival. Besides giving to the Marin County arts/culture community, our volunteers get to see wonderful films, attend special events and meet film lovers of all ages.

Volunteers get to watch one free movie for each shift worked. If you volunteer 2 shifts a month for 6 months in a row, you are eligible to help out at our special events.

Our volunteers need to be punctual and love working with the public. We count on our volunteers and need them to be on time since we have shows that start on time. We need help on the evenings and weekends. Weekends are the most crucial since that is when we are busy and need the most help.

gratifying and fun

Since I couldn't afford to buy and renovate the Lark Theater, the next best thing has been to volunteer as its marketing consultant. I enjoy having ideas and spreading the word to help expand our audiences.
