Girls on the Run participates in a variety of events through out the year, from local races to our fall fundraising gala. We are always in need of volunteers for these events which are typically 2-4 hours on weekend days or evenings. If you can't commit to being a coach but want to help out--this is a great way to do so! Additionally, this is a great opportunity for groups of volunteers, such as service of workplace groups, sororities/fraternities, etc. Please contact Natalie Stack, Program Assistant at 415.863.8942 or email volunteer@gotrbayarea.org. We'll add you to our list of "on call" volunteers to receive notification of upcoming opportunities! Girls on the Run is a life-changing non-profit running program for girls in 3rd through 8th grade to help build self esteem. Our mission is to educate and build confidence in young girls by providing non-competitive, curriculum-based running programs in San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa and San Mateo Counties.
