Every day thousands of cancer patients need a ride to a medical facility for treatment. Road to Recovery volunteers help patients get to the lifesaving treatment they need by providing transportation to treatment appointments. Volunteers also provide encouragement and support. Training is provided. To become a volunteer driver, all you need is a safe & reliable vehicle, current CA driver's license and good driving record. Road to Recovery training required. Training is conducted via teleconference; volunteer can "attend" from the convenience of their home or office.  This opportunity is sponsored by: American Cancer Society, Marin
