Need to fulfill service credits at your school? Use your day off as a day on and celebrate the holiday by helping restore your National Park. We have specially scheduled programs throughout the year at sites in Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo Counties. Projects include trail maintenance and habitat restoration along some of the most scenic trails in the park. This is just for teens, so come with friends, classmates, or your school club. Teens on Trails Dates - 2010 *Tuesday, March 30 - Cesar Chavez Day *Saturday, April 24 - National Youth Services Day Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm
No experience necessary: training and tools will be provided. Fulfills community service requirements. Wear clothes that can get dirty, long pants, close-toed shoes, layers for changing weather, and rain gear if necessary. Also, bring a personal water bottle and sunscreen.
