Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Love hanging out with children &/or youth? We need your help! We are seeking those interested in hanging out with students after school to help with reading & homework for an hour (3:30-4:30pm). This could be anything from listening to an elementary student read to helping middle school students with algebra homework. Then there is also a time for volunteers to interact and help them during planned games and fun activities for 30 minutes(4:30-5pm). After that is free time from 5-6pm while they are waiting for parents to come and pick them up.

Volunteers are required to be fingerprinted. We also have an application to fill out and short interview and training meeting. Working with children is a great responsibility!
