Do you play an instrument? Do you love to entertain people and brighten their days with the gift of music? People with memory loss and/or dementia relate to music in a very special way. Music evokes memories and brings special joy. If you are available one hour a week -- on Fridays from 11 AM - Noon -- and play an instrument (we have a piano at our center) and have the ability to play a variety of songs, come and play music for a group of about 20 or so older adults who live with progressive memory loss. It's a rewarding way to share the gift of music with an appreciative crowd.
TB screening and background clearance required. Quarterly in-service trainings are available. This opportunity is sponsored by: Senior Access - CA - San Rafael And West Marin
