Be a Wish Grantor for a child with a life-threatening illness. Interview children and their families to determine the child's wish, complete wish paperwork and serve as the liaison between the family and the agency office. Must have a high level of oral proficiency and moderate written proficiency in Spanish. Volunteers should contact the Make-A-Wish office to attend an initial orientation. There will be an application process, including reference check, state DOJ background check and personal interview. Accepted volunteers will be required to attend 3-4 hour Wish Grantor training session before becoming actively involved in Wish Granting process.
