Redwood Creek Nursery & Stewardship Program – take a morning to really appreciate the scenery
When: Wednesdays 10 AM - 1 PM

Where: Golden Gate National Recreational Area, Redwood Creek Watershed, Muir Woods, Muir Beach, Marin. Meeting location varies. Please contact us at volunteer@conservationcorpsnorthbay.org for specific details.

Details: Join CCNB's AmeriCorps members in the majestic redwoods of Muir Woods and the rest of the scenic Redwood Creek watershed to help protect and enhance the habitat of the endangered coho salmon and steelhead trout. Learn how to grow and care for native plants in our nursery, as well as help plant and maintain our restoration sites. You can think of it as time spent performing a valuable service for your community or an invigorating morning beautifying your backyard.

What to bring: Tools, snacks, and beverages will be provided. Please wear clothes that can get dirty, long pants, close-toed shoes, layers for changing weather, and rain gear if necessary. Also, bring a personal water bottle and sunscreen.

Registration instructions: Register online at volunteer@conservationcorpsnorthbay.org or at 415-454-4554 ext. 285.

Who’s invited: Everyone. No experience necessary. Adults, families, and youth all ages are welcome. For volunteers aged 10 and below, parental supervision is requested. Volunteers must be able to perform moderate physical labor.
