Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Hospice By The Bay is looking for volunteers to support our used book sales team at the Hospice Book Room at Book Passage in Corte Madera. Responsibilities include pricing, alphabetizing, and shelving books as well as assisting customers in the Hospice Used Book Room.

Hospice volunteers are asked to make a regular commitment of three to four hours per week. Volunteers complete an application, background check (at no cost to applicant), and training sessions. Volunteers with previous retail experience are desired but we encourage anyone with a literary interest to apply. Please note that this is a physical job that requires standing and lifting up to 20 pounds.
