Do you love working with children? Our skilled choral teachers would love your help in our after-school choral classes, working with girls in kindergarten - 3rd grade. Assistants will help set up chairs, take attendance, help singers find their music, participate in simple group folk dances with the class, help with questions, put away chairs and do cleanup, and generally assist the teacher with keeping a focused and orderly class! There will be a training session before classes begin in September, to help everyone stay on the same page with what's required. Assistants need to commit to one class per week (after school or Saturday morning), and provide their own transportation. Community volunteer hours will be credited for this very fun opportunity!
