Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Insight Prison Project is seeking an administrative volunteer to support the day-to-day office operations. If you're interested in being part of something that makes a difference in the lives of San Quentin inmates and their families, give us a call.

This volunteer would be responsible for the following:
-Retrieving and distributing phone, email and mail messages
-Tracking in-prison class attendance on a monthly basis
-Sending weekly donor acknowledgment letters
-Maintain supply of PR-related materials
-Support the Executive Director, Associate Director and Program Manager

Recommended skills:
-Experience as an administrative / executive assistant, office manager
-Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher
-Consistent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
-Capacity to work independently as well as cooperatively
