Contribute your skills at Grant Research and Writing to support immigrants and larger community. For over 20 years Jumpstart Network has been active in Marin County, feeding the poor, offering ESL classes, tutoring children, providing healthcare, offering counseling services, and more. Jumpstart India also supports an orphanage for handicapped children, sponsors micro-businesses, and provides emergency relief among many other activities. We are looking for people who have some experience with research and grant writing and would like to learn more about grants that provides services and funding for the hurting and needy. You need to be a self-motivated individual who is open to learning, and comfortable with working in a faith-based environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We are looking for someone with grant writing experience, excellent writing and editing skills, and familiarity with Microsoft office.
Hours are remote and flexible, but there is a minimum to research and write one complete grant. This is a non-paid position, but we will send you to professional development and grant writing workshops during your term at no cost to you. University and community service credits may also be available from your institution.
