Work from home, at your own pace with flexible deadlines! Volunteer needed to listen to recorded oral history interviews on audio CD, and type the transcript of the interview verbatim, into a word processing document. Interviews are about an hour in length, about 20 pages in length once typed. Attention to detail, patience, and good listening and typing skills are required. Must work from home, or wherever there is dedicated access to a computer and CD player in an undistracted environment. Training, guidance, and encouragement provided by California Room staff.
