The Breakfast To-Go Project is aimed at preparing healthy and convenient breakfast meals and snacks for the families and children who are residents in our family programs, working to build a stable life for themselves with the help of our transitional housing program. We are looking for an excited group of volunteers to work on-site in the kitchen of one of our shelter’s where they will cook up healthy breakfast burritos and granola bars that will be frozen and stored for our residents. This fun and educational opportunity will have the option for a tour and discussion about nutrition, Homeward Bound Family Services Program, and issues around homelessness. We are looking for groups of 10 to 20 people who can commit to a 2 to 3 hour project. This opportunity is sponsored by: Homeward Bound of Marin
