The Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership seeks highly skilled individuals to work on an innovative pilot project as volunteer Team Leaders of a team of expert Civic Engagement Leadership Team volunteers who will work with the senior staff of nonprofit agencies in the coming year. These teams will strengthen nonprofit organizations in Marin by providing technical assistance in the areas of human resources, executive and management issues, training, board development, financial and fiscal issues and business/strategic planning. Team Leaders will meet first with the senior staff of the partner nonprofit agency to conduct an Organizational Strength Assessment and identify areas where advice can be provided. They will develop a work plan with the partner agency, outlining the activities to be undertaken and the approximate time periods for each activity. Team Leaders will then set up an initial team meeting to brief members on the agency’s needs and assist them with getting started on their consultancy and provide reasonable assistance and coordination throughout their consultations. They will make periodic reports on the status of CELT’s work throughout the term of the project.

The Center is on the left-hand side of the street, across from Sears Auto Center. Directions from the North: From Southbound Highway 101, take the Freitas Parkway/Terra Linda exit. At the stop light proceed straight across Freitas Parkway. At the next light, turn left onto Las Gallinas, which turns into Los Ranchitos. Turn right at the second light onto Northgate Drive. The Center is on the left-hand side of the street, across from the Sear's Auto Center.
