Volunteer Opportunity Details:

FHOM is looking volunteers to perform "tests" at housing sites. A "tester" is an individual who assumes an assigned profile and uses it to pursue a housing experience. By pairing a protected class person with a control person and comparing treatment, discrimination can be corroborated. The United States Supreme Court has approved testing as one of the best methods to confirm housing discrimination. Testers are reimbursed for expenses incurred, such as mileage and bridge tolls.

You have to have good analytical skills and be able to write a report or narrative. Most of all, testers need to be objective.
