Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Greet and assist customers as they enter Legal Self Help Services, which provides assistance in understanding and navigating general procedures and providing tools and information for people to do self-research or complete documents for processing. No legal experience necessary. The volunteer will determine the type of case and the needs of the customer, and direct them accordingly. May also assist in responding to correspondence and request for forms, as well as with on-going and one-time projects. Basic office and computer skills, and ability to work effectively in a busy environment with diverse customers are necessary. Bi/multi-lingual a plus! Training will be provided. Minimum time commitment of one three-hour shift per week is preferred.
