If you have an eye for design and the heart for giving back to the community, join us as we resume a long standing tradition, the 39th Annual 2010 Marin Designer Showcase. The Designer Showcase is a Center fund raising event that seeks to enrich and strengthen volunteerism and nonprofit organizations. Our first meeting will be at the Volunteer Center November 19, 5:30 - 7pm.
- Hours are flexible
- Work may be done from home
- Some monthly committee meetings (Attendance is required)
Roles/Positions (Public Relations, Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Operations, Administration and Coordination) Responsibilities will vary but include: Working with the Center’s Volunteer Project Leader to maintain and execute timelines for the event. All volunteers for this project must be comfortable working as part of a team and taking directions. Rewards: Enjoy a one-of-a-kind work environment, rich in history. From Northbound Highway 101, take the Freitas Parkway/Terra Linda exit and turn to the right onto Civic Center Drive. Turn right at the stop light onto the Merrydale Road, continue over the overpass. Turn left at the stoplight onto Los Ranchitos. Turn right at the first stoplight onto
Northgate Drive. The Center is on the left-hand side of the street, across from Sears Auto Center.
Directions from the North:
From Southbound Highway 101, take the Freitas Parkway/Terra Linda exit. At the stop light proceed straight across Freitas Parkway. At the next light, turn left onto Las Gallinas, which turns into Los Ranchitos. Turn right at the second light onto Northgate Drive. The Center is on the left-hand side of the street, across from the Sear's Auto Center. |
