Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Since 1977, trained volunteers have been providing grief counseling to members of the community at no charge. Are you interested in learning about the grief process, how to be of support to the recently bereaved and more about yourself? The 33-hour grief counseling training class is taught by a licensed MFT and will prepare participants to work directly with people who are grieving the death of a loved one. The course is held every Spring. A pre-class interview is required. There is a fee for the class and extensive written material is provided.

A pre-class interview and successful completion of a 33-hour training class are required.
