Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Personal shoppers are needed for San Rafael women's boutique, providing clothes donated by the community for women in Marin re-entering the workforce. Help low-income women look their best by assisting them with wardrobe choices for interviews, etc. Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday mornings from 9-noon or any Saturday of the month, from 11 to 2 pm or
2 pm to 5 pm.. Please call to make an appointment for an interview.

Personal shoppers will observe and receive personal shopper booklet and would work with others who are experienced. Those with a flair for fashion and compassion, who are interested in helping a vulnerable, but grateful population. We have a great group of volunteers to join!

Every day I received a welcome and appreciation for my time and efforts.

Finding a volunteer job was difficult in the middle of summer yet I was welcomed with big smiles when I applied to "Image For Success". Every one was very kind, gentle, and patient in training me to work in all aspects of this non-profit business. My heart was filled with joy on seeing those in need leave so happy with their (Free) 3weeks of clothing donations, which will help them appear their best on any interview or job. Volunteer experienced "Dressers" help women, men, and children to look their best with specially chosen attire and after volunteering here for several weeks, I began to find a more professional way of dressing with the help of my supervisor, who has an eye for fashion for all who enters the nonprofit retail area. I must also praise the staff on the very affordable prices in the retail shop.
