Our mission is to create positive images for low-income women returning to work and children, infant through middle school. We need several clothing intake assistants who can work as a team or individually to accept and sort clothing donations, hang them on hangers and shelve the shoes, purses and accessories. These volunteer positions are great for an individual or team of friends wanting to work together, who have a flair for fashion and an eagle eye for stains, tears and healthy backs for hanging clothes on a three-hour shift. It works well for moms wanting to re-enter a work setting, knowing kids sizes, and looking for a satisfying year-round volunteer opportunity for a worthy cause. We need a commitment of either once or twice a month. High school kids wanting to get community service credit or college people wanting to volunteer year round are also welcome.

5 Overall Experience   
Every day I received a welcome and appreciation for my time and efforts.

Finding a volunteer job was difficult in the middle of summer yet I was welcomed with big smiles when I applied to "Image For Success". Every one was very kind, gentle, and patient in training me to work in all aspects of this non-profit business. My heart was filled with joy on seeing those in need leave so happy with their (Free) 3weeks of clothing donations, which will help them appear their best on any interview or job. Volunteer experienced "Dressers" help women, men, and children to look their best with specially chosen attire and after volunteering here for several weeks, I began to find a more professional way of dressing with the help of my supervisor, who has an eye for fashion for all who enters the nonprofit retail area. I must also praise the staff on the very affordable prices in the retail shop. Outstanding agency with caring staff and volunteers.

IFS is blessed with caring volunteers who work tirelessly to provide impeccable professional attire for clients who are entering the workplace for the first time.
