Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteer Office Assistants needed Monday through Thursday anytime from 9 to 4 pm. Perfect for high school, college person, or person re-entering the workforce. Our mission is to create self-reliance and self-esteem through positive images in low income women returning to work and children, infant through middle school by providing clothing that has been donated. We are in need summer and year-round assistance with scheduling women and children appointments and confirm appointments, fax program info to social service agencies, tally monthly client data, light filing. Volunteers should possess poise, attention to detail and ability to keep confidentiality. Minimum age 16, please.

Training/supervision provided.

Every day I received a welcome and appreciation for my time and efforts.

Finding a volunteer job was difficult in the middle of summer yet I was welcomed with big smiles when I applied to "Image For Success". Every one was very kind, gentle, and patient in training me to work in all aspects of this non-profit business. My heart was filled with joy on seeing those in need leave so happy with their (Free) 3weeks of clothing donations, which will help them appear their best on any interview or job. Volunteer experienced "Dressers" help women, men, and children to look their best with specially chosen attire and after volunteering here for several weeks, I began to find a more professional way of dressing with the help of my supervisor, who has an eye for fashion for all who enters the nonprofit retail area. I must also praise the staff on the very affordable prices in the retail shop.
