Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Image for Success is a nonprofit assisting women, men and children, ages infant through middle school in getting two week's worth of mix and match clothing, shoes, and coats for school.

We provide training for women, guys, college students, and supervision for teens. Our hours during the school year are Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 to 5 pm and Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm and 2 pm from 5 pm.

Every day I received a welcome and appreciation for my time and efforts.

Finding a volunteer job was difficult in the middle of summer yet I was welcomed with big smiles when I applied to "Image For Success". Every one was very kind, gentle, and patient in training me to work in all aspects of this non-profit business. My heart was filled with joy on seeing those in need leave so happy with their (Free) 3weeks of clothing donations, which will help them appear their best on any interview or job. Volunteer experienced "Dressers" help women, men, and children to look their best with specially chosen attire and after volunteering here for several weeks, I began to find a more professional way of dressing with the help of my supervisor, who has an eye for fashion for all who enters the nonprofit retail area. I must also praise the staff on the very affordable prices in the retail shop. IFS is blessed with caring volunteers who work tirelessly to provide impeccable professional attire for clients who are entering the workplace for the first time.
