The Youth4Youth Mentoring program is a site based, supervised program that allows High School students to mentor Elementary and Middles school aged Youth. This program meets one day a week for an hour and a half. The High School student goes through an interview and a training and will then be matched with a younger student for a one on one relationship. The program is starting up for Fall now and sites will be located throughout Marin; at the Novato Youth Center (Monday afternoon), Manzanita Recreation Center in Marin City (Wednesday afternoon), Davidson Middle School (Thursdays) and Laurel Dell Elem. in San Rafael(Thursday and Friday afternoon) This program is for High School students. It is a way to give back to their community, earn community service hours and spend time with a child playing games and having fun. There is a brief interview and a training. Mentors need to be able to commit to at least one year of service. Please contact Loren Holzem at 415-453-3800*224 or lholzem@bbbsnorthbay.org for more information.
