Bridge The Gap is a youth tutoring program located in Marin City, California. We pair students in grades K-12 with motivated high school students and adults in one-to-one tutoring relationships. These tutoring relationships: Give students the self-confidence to learn Help students build skills for success Improve relationships within our communities
We ask that each tutor be willing to meet consistently with their student on Monday evenings or Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm for the school year. In addition, we ask that tutors contact their students before each session to confirm and encourage the student's attendance. The program runs throughout the school year (September-June) and has a summer break. Training and orientation provided, no prior experience required.
