Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on October 12, 2009 |
Cornerstone Community Homes is a non-profit organization operating seven residential group homes in Marin County for developmentally disabled adults. We are looking for one or two board members to join us in providing governance, direction, and support to a group of dedicated staff and their clients. If you have the interest and background - but no previous board experience - don't let that stop you. We are looking for a person with business experience and a good and generous heart, not the perfect candidate.
Meetings are once every other month normally from 4-6 PM, with an occasional meeting in between. You don't need to be a health care professional, but a general understanding of issues related to autism and intellectual disabilities would be to our benefit. This opportunity is sponsored by: Cornerstone Community Homes
