The Hungry Owl Project is looking for help with our barn owl box project. The opportunity would involve helping to hang barn owl boxes in appropriate habitat, and/or cleaning and repairing existing boxes. This would involve climbing ladders to heights up to 20 feet, being outside all day, and getting dirty. It will also introduce you to some of our most interesting and useful wild neighbors, owls! Come learn all about these amazing birds' effectiveness as rodent exterminators and help attract them to appropriate habitat by hanging and repairing their new owl box homes! This project requires the ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and use power tools. Some carpentry skills would be great. This opportunity is sponsored by: WildCare: Terwilliger Nature Education and Wildlife Rehabilitation
