Project Leaders play an indispensible role in the FLEX Volunteer Program. Without the commitment and leadership of Project Leaders, valuable projects serving our community would be less effective, less attended and less FUN! From our Habitat project in Novato to our Wetlands restoration in Tiburon, dedicated individuals have answered their call to service by leading volunteers!
Project Leaders receive on-going training and develop strong relationships with CVNL staff, agency partners and, most importantly, volunteers. The skills project leaders will develop are invaluable.
There are no requisite skills or prior training required to become a project leader. All that we ask is that you are passionate about the project you will lead. We ask all potential project leaders to volunteer for at least one FLEX Volunteer Opportunity and be able to make a commitment of at least 4-6 months. The commitment is minimal, but the importance of your task as project leader is great. Your impact will be even greater.
