How many times have you asked yourself why isn't more being done? How many times have you observed while volunteering that effective leadership would increase your impact? If you have asked yourself any of these questions you already have the qualities of a great Project Leader!
What else it takes to become a project leader:
- Attend one hour Project Leader Training
- Volunteer for at least three FLEX projects
- Commitment to being a Project Leader in at least 4 projects over the course of a year
As a Project Leader (PL) in the FLEXible Volunteer Program, you will act as the volunteer coordinator for your chosen project. This means confirming with volunteers when to show up, what to wear, and realistic expectations for the project. Then on the day of the project you will make sure volunteers sign in and that everyone has a positive experience!
Take the first step and attend a 1 hour Project Leader training.
